30th birthday continue...about a week later...

...Because I got sick! i know it totally sucks. I would not recommend it to anyone. Off the top of my head it seem that every BIG birthday I get sick. 21...yep, was sick, and of course my brothers HAD to take me out that following weekend, which I know I was not fully really to drink as much as I did, needless to say, I was sick after that weekend. And now this one I came down with Strep. I was fine on my actual day, but on Peter's (Monday) I was feeling something coming on...Tuesday aches and pain, fever the whole nine yards...Wednesday dying! thank god for antibiotics. Normally, I 'm not one to run out and get those things for any little thing, I have to been pretty sick to go to the doctors and take something...well, enough of that let's get back to birthday talk!

So, my mom threw me a dinner party, which was every nice... I mostly took pictures of my nephew Ethan ...he is too cute, walking and talking now! I felt soo honored that he was able to be out past his bed time...Thanks jen and bill- that was a birthday gift in itself!

Here is the little guy himself. I love this kid! Since the start of walking and talking he is too busy to give out as many hugs and kisses as before...but very understandable when the world is at his feet and on the tip of tongue.

Look at the seriousness of that FACE! he was banging that drum soo hard, and with all his might....

This could end up in my or my brother's garage... and louder! God help us.

Lastly, on Wednesday, we had a nice visit from our friend, Charles, who brought us by an ice cream cake! Just what the doctor ordered when having strep!Chocalate Chip cookie dough...THE BEST! Thanks Charles and Nicole, that was awesome!...oh look I just noticed that I have little hearts for my the dot of my i...Tooo cute!

I wish I could say that I took a wild week off work...just blew it off and ran to a secret get- away, but that is so far from the truth. Here i was newly 30, trying to figure out where my Pilates studio will have to re-locate, put my house up on the market, finding a new house, planing my wedding.... and sick! I guess that was God's way telling me to stop Stressing about things out of my control....(yea, still learning that one ;) ) I slept alot, I was achy, with the chills, and a throat on fire...it was the worst!!! but as one of my cleints reminded me, he will never give me more than I can handle..... i just am still wondering...why does it feel like more??? Moving on....May you, who took time to read this, have only good health come to you, because it just sucks to be sick...uuugggkkkkk.
