Post Therapy/Ocean Grove / Students

Located in Willow Glen, The Pilates Body offers an environment that encourages our clients to find renewal through a Pilates workout. Clients are met with new challenges every six weeks and are encouraged to find new physical goals through Pilates.

The environment of The Pilates Body makes it easy to find peace within your physical self. It is important that the client feels comfortable while achieving their body shaping goals.
We offer Pilates Mat Classes, Private, Semi-private and Trio-sessions with the apparatus. We are here to help you achieve your specific goals for your body's strength and well-being. Semi-Private and Trio-sessions can be paired up by either the client (you) or the studio.

When you become a client, personal use of the Cardio equipment is free of charge.

Class Descriptions

Pilates Mat Class
Taught in classic Pilates, mat class is good for all levels. You are never too advanced to work on the fundamentals and beginners can use the challenge. The focus of the mat class is fine toning of your Pilates workout, using Connection with your core, elongation of your spine and movement with your breath. This class is a full body workout with the advantage of stretch and strength coming from deep within to give the body that fine muscular look. Part of the class sole focus is on the Pilates breath technique. The breath perfection is expanding through the lungs and lift of the pelvic floor. This is one of the must important fundamental that can help us in our day-to-day living. It is also just important to breathe! No injuries in Mat Class.

 

Apparatus Descriptions

Pilates Apparatus Sessions

Private Sessions are for the indiviual that has their Private session. It can either be for post Physical Therapy, or specific goal one may have. A private session is a great place to get the attention an injury would need.

Semi-Private Sessions this is good for people who want a workout partner for Pilates. It is NOT recommended for people who have an injury or post Physical Therapy to do Semi-Privates or Trios.

**Trio Sessions are FUN! They are mostly done in a Pilates circuit. We use all Apparatus in this Class.

Happy Hour Sessions These are sessions, Private, Semi-Private or Trios, that are scheduled during the times of 1pm,2pm or 3pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please mention this advertisement.

**All Apparatus sessions are an Hour Long; however the Trio instruction starts 5 min. pass the Hour.

Post Therapy/ Injuried person only

This is for a specialized appointment, for those with a specific injury. Knee, back, neck, etc. You will recieve one on one sessions, for ONLY those needs. Assessment will be given before and after care. Care at this special offer is good for ONLY 6 MONTHS.

Ocean Grove/ Students:

Here at pilates we MORE than welcome students ages 6 years and up! They can sign-up for Mat classes or Appartaus sessions.
